With Rainbow’s Watch Mode, you can easily follow anyone’s wallet activity or see what’s inside their wallet. If you have a hardware wallet, you can even use Rainbow to visualize your NFTs and keep track of its balances. All you have to do is import the wallet’s public address or an ENS domain.
Adding a wallet via watch mode:
Tap on the arrow next to your wallet name on the main screen to bring up the Wallet Switcher.
At the bottom of the Wallet Switcher, tap “Add another wallet”.
Tap Watch an Ethereum address.
Enter the wallet’s public address or ENS domain name and tap “Continue”.
Give the wallet a name or use the default, then tap “Import Wallet”.
Now you can easily see the assets contained by that wallet!
You can also view which wallets you have in watch mode anytime by viewing the Wallet Switcher
What if I added my own wallet as watch mode?
If your wallet was imported using its public wallet address, your wallet will be imported as the read-only “watching mode”.
❗ In order to actually control the wallet, you’ll have to verify that you own the wallet by importing its secret phrase or private key. If you go to your profile/transaction screen in the app, you can tap on your wallet name/address to bring up a menu that will let you "import".
