It’s Phase 1 in the next evolution of Rainbow alongside Rainbow Points. In this guide, we’ll explain what Rainbow ETH Rewards are, how to earn these rewards, and exactly how to claim them.

What are Rainbow Rewards?
As we referenced earlier, Rainbow ETH Rewards are phase 1 in the next evolution of Rainbow. All the Rainbow Points you earn by taking actions onchain can now give you a spot on the Points leaderboard and the opportunity to be airdropped ETH weekly! You can claim your ETH on any supported Superchain network in Rainbow, those being:
Base
Zora
Optimism
This is not a one time airdrop, this is ETH, claimable in Rainbow every week for you to stack and fund your onchain endeavors. As rewards get larger, we plan to airdrop ETH Rewards to more users. The better Rainbow does, the more our community can benefit 🌈🫂
Qualifications:
To qualify for Rainbow ETH Rewards, you must first stack at least 10,000 Rainbow Points. For the weekly airdrop, you need to be in the top 1,000 active Rainbow users, based on the number of points earned the week before. You can check where you are on the leaderboard any time in the Rewards tab, remember the higher you place, the more ETH you get.
Alongside swaps and bridges, referring your friends to use Rainbow is a great way to stack those points as well. You get 10% of the points your friends have earned, and 10% of all the points they will earn, plus extra points when they refer friends!
If you invite someone to Rainbow, and they import a MetaMask seed phrase into Rainbow, Rainbow will give them retro bonus points based on the swap volume they had using MetaMask's built in swaps! As the person inviting them, you'll then get 10% of those bonus points they receive for having been a big MetMask swapper.
Your referral code isn't publicly connected to your Ethereum address, so you can share it without worrying about your doxxing your Rainbow wallet’s address.
Note that anyone using the referral code must actively add your code when joining and perform qualifying actions that are greater than $100 for you to start earning. Those qualifying actions are: swap and bridge transactions. Check out our swap guides for mobile and the extension for more details!
The Rewards:
Rainbow will airdrop your ETH weekly on Tuesdays based on where you place in the top 1000 active Rainbow users by number of points earned the week before.
Remember, you must have at least 10k points to qualify for ETH Rewards.
You’ll again be able to claim your ETH on any supported Superchain network, those being:
Base
Zora
Optimism
Rainbow is also covering all gas costs, so you’ll be able to claim your free ETH on these networks, even one you haven't used before!
How to Claim:
Claiming can be done in both the mobile app and extension! You’ll head to your rewards tab and the claim option will be directly displayed at the top.
Once you start the claim, you’ll select which network you want to claim your rewards on, and then you’re set!
The rewards will be viewable on that same tab and also within your activity history.

How are rewards calculated?
Your rewards are based on the your placement out of the top 1000 Rainbow users from the number of points earned the week before. The higher you place, the more ETH you get.
What else does Rainbow have planned for points?

Can you use these rewards off Rainbow?
Your rewards are only redeemable within Rainbow, but, once redeemed, you can use these rewards anywhere! We recommend continuing to use the redeemed rewards within Rainbow and stack points for future reward redemption opportunities.
Can you combine points to convert to rewards?
Points are not combinable and are unique to each individual wallet.
When will you receive your rewards?
Your rewards are distributed weekly.
