WHALE is a community-governed organization focused on the long-term stewardship and support of natively digital art and culture. Established in 2020, WHALE maintains the WHALE Vault, a collection of digital artworks and other digital assets, and operates a member community around collecting, preservation, cultural programming and governance. The $WHALE ERC-20 token is used for membership, participation, community rewards and collective decision-making. Token holders can participate in governance concerning the organization and the Vault, subject to WHALE’s governance arrangements.
