What are Rainbow Points?:
Rainbow Points are the first step towards including our community in the future success of Rainbow. It's a program designed to make your Rainbow experience more fun and rewarding.
Points reward you for doing all the amazing things you already do within Rainbow on a grander scale!
The points program is across all Rainbow products (our app and our extension)
How do I earn Points?:
You can earn points for most of your usual on-chain actions within Rainbow. However, if you want to earn the most points you should:
Swap and bridge in Rainbow
Invite your friends to Rainbow
Mint NFTs in Rainbow
Accept NFT offers via Rainbow
Point Drop Details:
Your points earned each week will be airdropped at 4:20pm ET every Tuesday!
Referrals:
When you join points, you automatically get a referral code that you can share with friends. You get 10% of the points your friends have earned, and 10% of all the points they will earn, plus extra points when they refer friends!
Your referral code isn't publicly connected to your Ethereum address, so you can share it without worrying about your doxxing your Rainbow wallet’s address.
Note that anyone using the referral code must actively add your code when joining and perform qualifying actions that are greater than $100 for you to start earning. Those qualifying actions are: swap and bridge transactions. Check out our swap guides for mobile and the extension for more details!
Expanded state:
Your expanded state will break down your past week’s earnings so you can see exactly what actions earned you x amount of points. You can view this anytime by heading to the points tab and viewing the “Your Earnings Last Week” prompt at the top.
This state will show your activity, your referral activity, and any new referral actions that earned you points.

Common Questions and Troubleshooting:
Referral activity not being counted:
You’ll want to double check that your referrals performed qualifying actions (swaps and bridge transactions) and those actions were greater than $100.
Connect with us at [email protected] with both yours and your friend’s public wallet address and we’ll be happy to look into this further!
Actions on the drop day, but points weren’t counted:
The cut off for those points to be counted on this week’s earnings is Monday evening the day before.
Any actions made after that will be reflected on the following week’s drop.
Did actions in another wallet provider from my imported Rainbow wallet but didn’t receive points:
Actions to earn points need to be done IN Rainbow directly. Points cannot be earned via an imported Rainbow wallet into another wallet provider.
