If you have a stuck transaction, or just want your transaction to move forward more quickly, below we'll share the ways on how to either cancel, clear, or speed up a transaction.

Cancelling a Transaction:

If a transaction is still processing, you're able to cancel it. The way this work is the wallet sends another transaction that is valueless to replace the original transaction. Keep in mind there is still a chance the original transaction might go through.

Instructions:

1. Navigate to the transaction history screen and tap on the pending transaction.

2. Select the "Cancel" option.

3. Confirm by tapping "Attempt Cancellation".

Clearing a Transaction:

If you have a stuck transaction, you can attempt to clear any pending transactions by using the instructions below.

Instructions:

1. Head to Settings in Rainbow (3 dots in the upper right-hand corner)

2. Tap "Developer Settings"

3. Tap "Clear Pending Transactions"

4. Force quit and re-open Rainbow

Speeding Up a Transaction:

📌 Keep in mind there's still a chance your original transaction will confirm first.

Instructions:

1. Navigate to the transaction history screen and tap on the pending transaction.

2. Select the "Speed Up" option.

3. Finish by tapping the "Confirm" button.
