Changing your password is easy if already logged into the extension!
To start, you'll want to click on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner, and click on ⚙️ Settings.
Next, you'll then want to click on the 🔒 Privacy & Security option.
From there, you'll click on the Change Password option where you'll be prompted to re-enter your current password before creating a new one.
Once you have that new password added, you'll click update password and it will be changed!
Resetting your Password:
Say you recently forgot your password and are looking to reset it without being logged in to the extension.
At the moment, there is no way to reset your extension password.
In our Backing Up Your Wallets guide, we talked about ensuring your secret phrase and password are secure. If you recently forgot your password, you'll want to check out the steps below to re-gain access to your wallet.
Continue to Use Your Wallet:
In order to continue to use Rainbow, you’ll need to uninstall/reinstall the extension to create a new password.
From there, you'll then need to re-import your wallet using your secured secret phrase.
